As of 12:00 AM KST on October 4, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 171.6 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 0.53% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 169.89 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.71 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.01%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 1.04%. Other major altcoins also displayed significant premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.02%, XRP (XRP) at 0.95%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.84%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.04%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.8% to 1.0% range.
