As of 12:00 AM KST on October 1, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 162.23 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, down 0.46% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 159.08 million KRW, reflecting a price difference of 3.15 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.98%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a Kimchi Premium of 2.03%. Other major altcoins also showed significant premiums: Solana (SOL) at 2.19%, XRP (XRP) at 2.05%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 2.39%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 2.90%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium between 2.0% and 2.9%.
