BlackRock’s “Strategic Income Opportunities Portfolio” has significantly increased its Bitcoin investments by boosting its shares in the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) by 14%. According to the latest filings with the SEC, as of September 30, the fund owned 2.39 million IBIT shares, an increase from 2.09 million at the end of June. The rise in Bitcoin’s value, surpassing $91,000, resulted in a 2% pre-market trading increase in IBIT shares.
