Yi Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital), announced that he is maintaining his price target for Ethereum (ETH) at $10,000 for next year.
In his assessment, Lihua stated that trend investments offer “beta returns” to a wide range of investors, while volatility-based trades provide “alpha returns” that are only suitable for a professional minority.
Lihua stated that short-term market corrections and volatility create buying opportunities, noting that the upcoming October interest rate cut could be the “last opportunity to bottom.” According to the renowned investor, the long-term bull trend will continue, with ETH's ultimate target being $40,000.
Meanwhile, on-chain data revealed that Yi Lihua's Trend Research firm deposited a total of 55,851 ETH ($243.65 million) into Binance in the last 24 hours. This move, along with Lihua's market assessments, drew attention.
At the time of writing this article, the ETH price has risen above $4,500 again after a long period.
