Now, USDC, Circle’s digital dollar, comes in. USDC is stable, fast, and easy to move across networks, making it well-suited for real-time AI Payments. Machines can pay a few cents or even fractions of a cent for things like API calls, small downloads, or bursts of compute.
How It Works Behind the Scenes
It occurs through a platform Circle is building called Gateway. Gateway acts as a “facilitator.” That means it helps machines make thousands of tiny payments without each one needing its own blockchain fee.
