Cloudflare, a company providing essential network services to websites and platforms across the internet, has reported significant disruptions that impacted the front-end accessibility of numerous cryptocurrency websites and social media communications.
In an update posted on Tuesday, Cloudflare stated that it had implemented a fix after initially reporting an "internal service degradation" at 11:48 am UTC. The company confirmed, "We believe the incident is now resolved. We are continuing to monitor for errors to ensure all services are back to normal."
The outage affected a wide range of users attempting to access the front-end of popular sites. Among those impacted were X, Truth Social, Coinbase, Blockchain.com, Ledger, BitMEX, Toncoin, Arbiscan, and DefiLlama. Some platforms, such as Kraken, had reported earlier that a fix had been implemented and access was being restored.
Platforms like BlueSky and Reddit appeared to have been unaffected by the widespread outage.
This is a developing story, and further information will be added as it becomes available.
