Truth Social, the social media platform from Trump Media & Technology Group (ticker DJT), is stepping into the world of prediction markets. Through a new partnership with Crypto.com, users will soon trade event-based prediction contracts directly within the app using a product called Truth Predict.
The feature will let users make predictions on everything from elections and interest rate moves to sports and commodity prices. These contracts will be handled via CDNA, ensuring the process stays federally compliant.
Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media, said this move marks the world’s first publicly traded social platform to offer prediction markets. “We’re democratizing information and empowering everyday Americans,” he said, adding that Truth Media ended the last quarter with $3 billion in assets and positive cash flow.
