Google has announced the release of Gemini 3, the latest iteration of its AI Chatbot, which is described as its most intelligent model to date. This new update integrates all of Gemini's existing capabilities into a single, cohesive system.
In a communication to its users, Google detailed that Gemini 3 is a state-of-the-art model designed for advanced reasoning, possessing a deep capacity for creativity and problem-solving. The model is engineered to better understand the intent behind user prompts, aiming to deliver desired outcomes with fewer interactions.
Gemini's Growth Amidst Competition
Since its launch nearly two years ago, Gemini has faced increasing competition in the AI chatbot landscape from prominent platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Meta AI, and China’s DeepSeek. Despite this competitive environment, Gemini has maintained a significant user base, reportedly attracting 2 billion monthly users. Additionally, the dedicated Gemini app has surpassed 650 million monthly users, according to Google's figures.
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, emphasized that the latest Gemini model represents a significant advancement in AI technology, with the goal of empowering users to bring any idea to fruition.
“Like the generations before it, Gemini 3 is once again advancing the state of the art. In this new chapter, we’ll continue to push the frontiers of intelligence, agents, and personalization to make AI truly helpful for everyone.”

The company positions Gemini 3 as its response to the growing demand for AI tools that simplify daily tasks and enhance productivity. Google aims to make artificial intelligence genuinely useful for everyone with this new model.
Introducing Gemini 3 Pro and Enhanced Capabilities
Alongside the main Gemini 3 release, Google is introducing Gemini 3 Pro. This version boasts advanced multimodal capabilities and reportedly surpasses the performance of Gemini 2.5 across all major AI benchmarks. Google states that Gemini 3 Pro exhibits PhD-level reasoning and establishes a new benchmark for frontier models in mathematical capabilities.
Gemini 3 Pro is designed to provide high-quality, intelligent, and direct responses. Google explained that this feature enables developers to translate ideas into reality using natural language and accomplish tasks more efficiently with reduced prompting.
“Gemini 3 Pro tells you what you need to heat, not just what you want to hear. It acts as a true thought partner that gives you new ways to understand information and express yourself,” said Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind.

Gemini 3 Pro will be accessible globally starting today through the Gemini app. Subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra can also access it via AI Mode within Search.
Gemini 3 Integration into Google Search
Google has also announced that Gemini 3 will be integrated into Google Search, effective immediately. This marks the first instance of a Gemini model being deployed to Search on its launch day. The integration is expected to enhance research capabilities and introduce tools that can uncover new content that might have been overlooked by previous models.
The company highlighted that Gemini 3 analyzes user queries to generate helpful layouts, including images, tables, and grids, ensuring that the final output is not only informative but also clear and actionable.

Beyond its integration into Search, Google is also introducing the Google Antigravity platform. This platform aims to evolve AI from a simple coding assistant into an active partner, capable of planning and executing complex software tasks such as feature development and bug fixing.
