What’s Happening at Sei Network?

As I mentioned various times already, this network is all about finances. It’s a financial appchain. Its main focus is on DeFi. However, it also plays an active role in the blockchain gaming sector. Both DeFi and gaming need fast processing of transactions. That’s what it offers with its parallel chain setup.

Now, a traditional blockchain processes transactions one at a time. This contrasts with what Sei does. It can process multiple transactions at the same time. So, for starters, let’s take a closer look at what recently has been happening with Sei Network.

Monaco

Monaco is bringing Wall Street on-chain. This is despite the fact that the current DEX landscape is fragmented. It can’t support institutional markets. That’s where Monaco fits in. Here’s what it offers to bring Wall Street on-chain.

Monaco advertises itself as a Wall Street–grade trading layer. It offers deeper liquidity and tighter spreads. This leads to better pricing on every trade. Among other things, this should bring stock trading on-chain on Sei with ease.

Sei Network is also active in bringing RWAs on-chain. Securitize is the leader in this market segment. So far, it has already tokenized over $3 billion in assets. No wonder that BlackRock’s BUIDL money market fund uses it as a tokenization partner. So, now we’re in the big leagues.

Did I mention gaming on Sei? Well, over the last year, gaming increased by 600 % on the network. For example, Kindred brings 25 IPs (Intellectual properties) to the chain. This adds a potential 100 million fans with exposure to Sei. There’s also an increase in the number of games available on the platform.

PayPal’s Stablecoin $PYUSD0 Is Coming to Sei Network

With the Genius Act being reality, stablecoins are taking the spotlight. Now, PayPal’s native stablecoin, $PYUSD0 is coming to the chain. Over 434 + million PayPal users worldwide use this as an on‑chain payment standard. LayerZero is in the picture with this and offers the cross‑chain tech.

Technical Analysis

Before I start to look at the real technical analysis, let’s first take a look at the current $SEI token price. That’s around 29 cents and comes with a $1.8 billion market cap. Out of the 10 billion $SEI tokens, 6.7 billion already circulate.

Sei Network has monthly unlocks that continue until August 2032. Over the last three months, $SEI has lost some ground. However, $SEI still has good momentum. Yahoo Finance even sees a 5× from here as a possibility. According to their analysts, $SEI hasn’t broken out yet.

So, what does the technical analysis tell us? The recent support was at 17.6 cents in June. Right now, I don’t expect $SEI to get this low again. The current resistance is at 38 cents from July. So, if we see $SEI ETFs approved, the next target can easily be anything between 50 cents and $1.

Currently, there are 2 $SEI ETF filings. One from Canary Capital for a staked $SEI ETF. The other one is from 21Shares. Now, fast processing is possible. The SEC recently asked various firms to withdraw their 19b‑4 filings. These are not needed anymore. This indicates a potential fast‑track procedure.

SEC is quietly paving the way for Altcoin ETFs.

However, there’s also the Government shutdown, which may slow down approvals. As happened on Friday with the Litecoin ETF deadline that the SEC missed.

So, in general, the $SEI tokenomics look solid. However, for the $SEI price to go up, it needs a catalyst.

How Many SEI Does It Take to Become a Millionaire?

So, here we are, it’s time to find out how many SEI will make you a millionaire. First things first, I look at a 29 cents price. $1 million needs 3.348 million SEI. That was easy, now, let’s get started.

I start out slowly, with my friend trader Ali Martinez on X, seeing the next goal at 34 cents. Now you need 2.92 million SEI to become a millionaire.

Michaël van de Poppe on X sees SEI hit a 65 cents range. That’s 1.538 million SEI and you’re a millionaire by the end of the year.

I’ve tweeted about this one earlier, but given that we’re holding on top of the 20‑Week MA, I assume we’ll start to continue seeing strength towards the next target:

For good measure, let’s throw in $1. That’s another easy calculation; you need 1 million SEI.

Cryptopanca on X expects a $2 price. So, that means that you will need 500 k SEI to get to millionaire status.

Quantum Ascend goes a step further, and he expects $2.65. So, now you will need 377,360 SEI. This is already a good 2× from its ATH of $1.14 from March 2024.

iWantCoinNews expects a 10× from here. That puts SEI at $2.90. So, now it needs 344,830 SEI, and you’re a millionaire.

So, I couldn’t find any higher predictions. But let’s say SEI can hit $5, as max, during this run. That means that if you have 200 k SEI now, you will be a millionaire once SEI hits $5.
