HIP-3 currently features three segments: xyz, flx, and vnti. These segments cover over 20 tokens, most of which are tied to equity underlyings, meaning the token value reflects the price of real-world stocks. The XYZ100 market stood out with $320 million in 24-hour trading volume, indicating strong demand and liquidity. Equity-linked tokens like NVDA and GOOGL also saw impressive activity, reaching $66 million and $45 million, respectively.
A real-world example illustrates the platform’s appeal. An investor interested in tracking technology stocks can now access a token like NVDA, which mirrors the performance of Nvidia shares. This approach allows traders to gain exposure to traditional equities without leaving the blockchain ecosystem, reducing reliance on conventional brokerage accounts and enabling seamless, 24-hour trading.
