We’ve talked about our future plans a few times during our live streams, and we thought it was time to put it in writing.
Over the years, we’ve learned that revenue is what keeps a web3 gaming project alive and growing. Focusing only on web3 alone isn’t enough to make that happen.
Don’t get us wrong, web3 gaming has incredible potential. It opens up real ownership, trading, and new ways for players to interact with their assets. However, when it comes to building a strong and sustainable revenue stream, the main focus has to be on non-crypto gamers until the crypto gaming market matures. Projects like Pudgy Party and Off the Grid are great examples; most of their success and revenue come from players outside of crypto.
New Mobile Game Development
Over the past few months, we’ve been quietly building a mobile game that focuses on in-app sales in fiat. This isn’t Memes At War, and it’s not a shooter either; it’s a different kind of game, the kind people naturally enjoy and spend money on.
Keep in mind that our FPS shooter, Memes At War, remains at the heart of what we’re building. We’re incredibly proud of how far it’s come, and real gamers are telling us the game has massive potential. The revenue from our expanding ecosystem will help us reach our vision with Memes At War.
Integration with $MMA Ecosystem
So back to the mobile game: how does this help $MMA? We’ll have a transparent model where part of the fiat revenue will go toward buy-backs of $MMA, either to build up a treasury or for token burns. The treasury can then be used for exchange listings, marketing, and events. All to strengthen the ecosystem and the community around $MMA.
The model of the game is similar to Pudgy Party; we don’t bother casual gamers with complicated wallet setups. It’s completely optional, available through an opt-in setting.
$MMA will also be used on our marketplace, where players can connect their accounts and trade their in-game assets if they choose to.
