Ondo Finance Acquires Oasis Pro to Expand Regulated Tokenised Markets

Ondo Finance has finalised its acquisition of Oasis Pro, gaining SEC-registered broker-dealer, ATS, and transfer agent licenses. This move enables Ondo to develop and operate regulated tokenised securities markets in the United States.

The transaction equips Ondo with critical regulatory infrastructure for offering both public and private digital securities. These capabilities allow Ondo to broaden its product range and increase investor access in the U.S. market.

Ondo Strengthens U.S. Presence with Full-Stack Tokenisation Capabilities

Through the acquisition, Ondo now controls a complete platform for tokenising real-world assets and managing capitalisation structures. It also gains a digital asset transfer agent and an SEC-approved trading system for secondary markets.

The new infrastructure supports activities in traditional equities, OTC securities, corporate debt, REITs, mutual funds, and structured products. This includes regulated offerings and trading for both tokenised and conventional financial instruments.

Ondo’s updated framework allows primary issuance and secondary trading in fiat and digital currency formats. Additionally, it brings licensing to support capital markets services like private placements, underwriting, and M&A advisory.

Oasis Pro brings a proven regulatory record as an SEC-registered firm and FINRA member since 2020. It was among the first U.S. platforms to settle digital securities in both fiat and stablecoins such as USDC and DAI.

Founded in 2019, Oasis Pro previously contributed to FINRA’s Crypto Working Group, influencing U.S. tokenisation policy. Its regulatory experience and infrastructure now form a foundation for Ondo’s future growth.

With over $1.6 billion in tokenised assets already under management, Ondo now aims to scale its U.S. operations further. The acquisition aligns with projections that the tokenised securities market could exceed $18 trillion by 2033.

Both companies view the deal as a strategic step toward building a secure and compliant digital financial system. The acquisition marks a significant development in the regulated evolution of blockchain-based financial services.
