Binance founder Changpeng Zhao stated that Bitcoin reaching $200,000 is "the most obvious thing in the world." This sentiment was echoed days later by analyst Rekt Fencer, who forecasts the cryptocurrency could climb as high as $240,000 by the end of 2026.
CZ's $200K Forecast
Zhao, commonly known as CZ, made the bullish prediction as Bitcoin trades significantly below its all-time high. He acknowledged that while the timing of such a rally remains uncertain, he believes the milestone is inevitable.
The former exchange chief's comments come amid an evolving U.S. regulatory landscape. This includes consideration of the CLARITY Act by the Senate Banking Committee, though a scheduled Jan. 15 vote was delayed.
CZ also pointed to what he described as a potential crypto "Super Cycle." He cited the Securities and Exchange Commission's decision to remove cryptocurrency from its 2026 priority risk list as grounds for optimism.
Analyst Support for Bullish Outlook
CZ is not the only one who looks at Bitcoin's future with great optimism.
Crypto analyst Rekt Fencer, who has more than 336,000 followers on X, shares a similar outlook but offers a more specific timeline.
He forecasts Bitcoin could reach $200,000 before the end of 2026. His price chart suggests a potential target as high as $240,000.
Fencer believes Bitcoin could replicate the explosive growth seen during the 2020 bull cycle.
