Dependence on Ethereum (For Now)

At this stage, USDG is primarily deployed as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. While Ethereum is widely adopted and secure, network congestion and gas fees can be unpredictable during peak activity. This may make USDG less appealing in scenarios where low-cost, high-throughput transactions are required—at least until it expands onto additional scalable networks.
